Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it for the FS 55, why doesn't it fit the FS 56? Really like the larger size. Fits the FS55 perfectly, because there are 4 screws. Works great to block chips. The FS56 takes 1 screw, and there is no larger shield. This doesn't fit that model. What's up?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Deflector This large deflector kit has been by far my favorite deflector. My Stihl FS90 was equipped with a large deflector when I bought it new and I absolutely love it. In addition to that, I also installed a large deflector on my Stihl FS55RC. The large deflector kit does an excellent job of keeping the majority of grass, stones, and other projectiles away from the operator and once you are done trimming, you don't have as much grass that's stuck to you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 'Handle thing' The slide-on part is a blade for use with string trimmer line. It cuts it when feeding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product OK, not sure how much you can review a deflector. It is quite a bit stiffer than the original. The instructions, however, need a LOT of improvement. I still haven't figured out what the black handle thing that slides on the bottom piece is supposed to do, but it seems to work well without it, whatever it is. Don't see it on the picture, so I guess I got it right.
